- Iron: Lowest unit price, not suitable for designs with many cutouts
- Brass: Higher end and more expensive, no many cutouts on it.
- Zinc alloy: The price is moderate. Suitable for almost any metal design.
- Normal plating: gold, silver, nickel, black, chrome, rose gold…
- Color dyed: blue, green, red, yellow, white, black and all Pantone colors
- Special plating: rainbow plating, anodization
- Material: Iron and brass are for smaller sizes (less than 2.5’’)without many cutouts, zinc alloy is the most widely used material for medals because of flexibility and high cost performance.
- Sizes: Customized. The range is generally from 2 inches to 6 inches.
- Thickness: Customized. However, the products will be stamped more full if the thinnest thickness can match the size. For example, a 2-inch medal must be at least 2.5mm thick; a 3-inch medal must be at least 3mm thick… Thickness can be added a little more if required.
- Weight: affected by material (zinc alloy is the lightest, brass is the heaviest), size and thickness. The weight directly determines the shipping cost.
- Material: Heat transfer, Polyester, Polypropylene, Lanyard and so on.
- Colors: Single color or multiple colors are all great. Can use one or more colors from the design’s Pantone colors to match.
- Sizes: The length is normally 90cm, the width depends on how big the cut hole is.
- Sewing: Only the head and tail ends sewn allows the medal to move on the ribbon; if customer need to fix the position of medal, another sewing thread needs adding.

Yes. Many customers don’t know much about craftsmanship and design because of lacking of production experience. In order to better show the actual effect of the medals, we support mold setup and sampling and move forward to the mass production after samples are approved.
Gold, nickel, black nickel, silver, rose gold, antique, dyed, etc., are very widely used in hardware medals. For some competitive events, we suggest using gold, silver and copper to distinguish the 1.2.3 rankings. Of course, antique finish is popular to pursue a retro style , such as antique gold, antique silver, antique copper, etc.
